A common response to any suggestion that the series needs to be removed from media is that the anime is horrible and offensive to children, but the first line I would want to point out is that it is not. To make the series acceptable, we can't just remove it from school media systems. By definition, anime is meant to be a medium that appeals to young and impressionable minds. If we were simply removing the series from school media systems, it would be a moot point because it would allow children to watch it on an adult's channel and not the ones at the school where they are only kids and not a full-fledged adult.
